A University of Wisconsin-Madison student's death resurfaced campus concerns over the problem of binge drinking on college campuses.

The death of a 23-year-old UW-Madison student last week remains under investigation.

A quote from the sister of the deceased said he was intoxicated the last time anyone saw him.  His body was found at his Madison home.

Authorities said tests continue to determine what was in his system, and whether there were any other medical factors.

University researchers used nearly $700,000 in grant money to try to develop ways to curb campus bingeing. And new university rules require students with alcohol offenses to receive mandatory counseling.
